WHO IS PROF MACLEAN?

Maclean Nana Konadu Asante, a bachelor of education (B. Ed) Science and Mathematics student at Presbyterian College of Education, Akropong. He is popularly known  as Professor Maclean (Prof Maclean for short) on campus and across many places he visits 



He was born and raised in Oyoko a suburb of Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He started his basic school at Oyoko Roman Catholic and completed my basic school at Effiduase Victory International. He then proceeded to senior high school at Oyoko Methodist Shs (Omess).

He was elected as the senior boys Prefect for the day students during 2018. That notwithstanding he was a National Science and Maths Quiz team member for Omess.

 He has taught in two basic schools in Oyoko as a part-timer and a student teacher. The schools are Oyoko Adventist Preparatory School (Private school) and Oyoko Presbyterian JHS (Public school). By the grace of God, He  has rised from being a pupil teacher, P. T. A Secretary, School's Administrator, assist Head master (academics), headmaster, private schools coordinator and many more. 


His leadership services extends his church and the community beyond. Prof MacLean has served as Youth leader, Church Secretary, active missionary Preacher and among others. 



Currently, Prof is a student teacher ( teacher trainee) at Akropong Presbyterian College of Education offering B. Ed Science and Mathematics. And the current SRC General Secretary of the institution.


By the grace of God, In his entire life and wherever we go, his sole aim is to make impact and contribute his quota in the community to make it a better place.

 Ben Carson was born on September 18, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan.  He was raised by his single mother, Sonya Carson, who greatly supported his education. Initially struggled academically but showed significant improvement after restricting TV time and promoting reading.  Carson graduated from Yale University in 1973 and the University of Michigan Medical School in 1977. He interned at Johns Hopkins Hospital and later became the first African American neurosurgery resident there.  Known for pioneering pediatric neurosurgery, he achieved remarkable feats like separating conjoined twins.    Carson retired from the medical field in 2013. He ventured into politics by running for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016. He served as the 17th Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under President Donald Trump from 2017 to 2021. Ben Carson's life exemplifies perseverance, hard work, and faith. He remains a significant figure in American politics and the medical community.
